winter mix

We got some lovely winter mix style weather last week.  Not really snow mind you.  It snowed for all of about 10 minutes then varying kinds of ice fell from the sky for hours.  School closed early on Friday and we huddled in the house with the heat turned up hoping the power stayed on.  Thankfully it did and by Saturday morning we were ready to venture out and see if it was playable weather or not.  Turns out it was.

That said it was slippery.

I turns out you can in fact sled on frozen grass.
