Yesterday's picture is of a dress I was cutting out for Emily weighted down with a bunch of little board books. I really need to make myself some real pattern weights one of these days. I have pins but they stay upstairs and I cut downstairs.
Today's picture is of Emily modeling her pretty little punk Valentines day dress.

I love the dress. What pattern is that? Is it from one of the Japanese pattern books? Definitely get some pattern weights. They are so fun. I actually just got washer from Ace Hardware in Apex, super cheap. You can use bb's too and make a little sack for them, I might try those next time for a change of pace.s
Thanks so much. Its just a basic bishop pattern with flutter sleeves. I think the different fabric just makes it look different. I'm also still doing the 18m bc those dresses have so much volume. I haven't braved a Japanese pattern book since my failed first attempt. I only have one and its directions are all in cartoon form.
